Wellness Skills Trainees of Nanda Nath Saikia College Join Yoga and Wellness Session

Trainees of the Basic Health & Wellness Skills batch (2nd batch) at Nanda Nath Saikia College took part in a Yoga and Wellness session of the National Ayush Mission, Assam, on 3 October 2026 at Handique Gaon.

The trainees practised yoga asanas together with the instructors and received health awareness leaflets. Displays at the session covered Dinacharya (daily routine), Ritucharya (seasonal routine) and medicinal plants.

The batch took part under the guidance of their trainer, Bonanee Saikia.

The course is run by Jan Shikshan Sansthan Jorhat (Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India) at Nanda Nath Saikia College, where Rakta Sanjeevani is the skill development facilitator under its MoU with the college.
