It began with one blood donor. It became a movement.
What started on 5 April 2019 as a volunteer blood-donor network in Titabar is today a registered society working on health, livelihoods, heritage crafts, environment, education and youth across Assam.
A community-based organisation rooted in Assam
Rakta Sanjeevani is a community-based voluntary organization registered in 2021 and operating primarily in Assam. The organization works at the intersection of community health services and sustainable livelihood generation, with a strong emphasis on rural women, youth, and traditional artisans.
Our work spans voluntary blood donation, public health support, artisan skill development, market linkage projects, and leadership building at the grassroots level.

The first call
Begins as a network of voluntary blood donors answering emergency requests in Titabar.
Registered society
Registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860; NGO Darpan ID the same month.
COVID-19 response
Vaccination camps with Titabar PHC (370 vaccinated), lockdown relief and a first office in Titabar.
CSR-ready
CSR-1 registration with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, with provisional 12A and 80G.
Scaling up
Audited turnover grows to ₹30 lakh as skilling and livelihood work expands.
Crossing a crore
Gross receipts of ₹1.37 crore, with skill training delivered alongside government schemes.
12AB registration
Section 12AB registration granted by the CIT (Exemptions), valid up to AY 2031–32.
