Equipping the youth with the right direction, career clarity, and technical pathways is essential for building a skilled and self-reliant generation. A comprehensive Career Guidance Workshop was successfully organized on March 2, 2023, at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Jorhat.
The initiative was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Jorhat District (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India) in collaboration with Rakta Sanjeevani and the Industrial Training Institute, Jorhat.
Key Program Details
Career Counseling & Pathways: Provided actionable insights into emerging vocational sectors, technical education avenues, and skill-based career opportunities.
Skill Alignment: Guided trainees and local youth on how technical training at ITI can be translated into sustainable employment and entrepreneurial initiatives.
Inter-Institutional Synergy: Leveraged the collective strengths of a government youth wing (NYK), technical educators (ITI), and a grassroots community organization (Rakta Sanjeevani) to support the aspirations of local youth.
