Bringing Holistic Healthcare to the Grassroots: Free Health Check-up and Treatment Camp in Titabar

Accessible healthcare is a fundamental right, yet many rural families face significant hurdles in securing regular medical screenings and quality treatment. On September 10, 2022, Rakta Sanjeevani organized a comprehensive Free Health Check-up and Treatment Camp (বিনামূলীয়া স্বাস্থ্য পৰীক্ষা আৰু চিকিৎসা শিবিৰ) at No. 2 Mejenga Grant, Dhodar Ali Road, Titabar.

The camp was conducted in active collaboration with the medical experts of Dr. J. K. Saikia Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital (ডাঃ জীৱকান্ত শইকীয়া হোমিঅ’পেথিক চিকিৎসা মহাবিদ্যালয় ও চিকিৎসালয়), Club Road, Jorhat.

Highlights of the Health Camp

  • Comprehensive Health Screenings: Experienced doctors and medical practitioners conducted general health check-ups, diagnostic examinations, and blood pressure screenings for local residents.

  • Specialized Homeopathic Consultations: Patients received individualized consultations for chronic and acute ailments, accompanied by appropriate treatment plans and lifestyle recommendations.

  • Child and Maternal Wellness: A dedicated focus was placed on women and school children, offering pediatric consultations and raising awareness on foundational hygiene and nutrition.

  • Community-Centric Outreach: Held locally at No. 2 Mejenga Grant, eliminating transportation barriers and allowing elderly citizens and daily wage earners convenient access to medical attention.
