In a dedicated effort to equip our youth with market-ready technical skills, Rakta Sanjeevani has launched a new vocational training batch on “Helper Wireman – Electrical Assistant” under our flagship Project Urja.
Recognizing the high demand for skilled electricians in our growing semi-urban areas, this program is designed to transform 20 unskilled youths into certified professionals capable of handling domestic and commercial electrical works.
This technical training is being implemented by Jan Sikshan Sansthan (JSS), Jorhat, sponsored by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Govt. of India), and organized in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Nanda Nath Saikia (NNS) College, Titabar.

THE IMPACT: WHY THIS COURSE?
Under Project Urja, our goal is not just training, but employment. The “Helper Wireman” course was strategically chosen because:
-
Immediate Livelihood: Electrical repair and installation is a recession-proof career. Trainees can immediately start earning as independent contractors or assistants in established firms.
-
Safety & Standards: The course instills professional safety standards, ensuring our youth work safely and efficiently, reducing electrical accidents in the community.
-
Technical Empowerment: By mastering a trade, these 20 youths move from being “unemployed” to being “skilled technicians,” restoring their dignity and confidence.
This initiative is a testament to the power of Project Sahayog, bringing together the technical expertise of JSS, the academic infrastructure of NNS College, and the community reach of Rakta Sanjeevani.
