WHY THIS MATTERS (The Project Urja Context)

Unemployment is often the root cause of youth drifting toward negativity. Under Project Urja, we believe that the best way to protect our youth is to empower them.

This training provides 20 young individuals with:

  1. Vocational Expertise: Practical, hands-on training in soft toy design and stitching.

  2. Self-Employment Opportunities: The ability to start small businesses or home-based production units immediately after the course.

  3. Constructive Engagement: Keeping young minds engaged in productivity and creativity, ensuring they remain focused on nation-building.

This collaboration with NNS College and JSS Jorhat also highlights the strength of our Project Sahayog strategy—uniting government, education, and civil society for the greater good.
