Empowering Youth with Truth: Rakta Sanjeevani Distributes Drug-Free World Educational Kits at Nanda Nath Saikia College

Educating young minds with factual, science-backed knowledge is one of the most effective ways to build drug-resistant, healthy communities. As part of its ongoing substance abuse prevention campaign, Rakta Sanjeevani carried out a targeted awareness and literature distribution drive at Nanda Nath Saikia College, Titabar.

Volunteers engaged directly with college students across classrooms, labs, and campus grounds to distribute comprehensive educational booklets and resources provided by the Foundation for a Drug-Free World.

Highlights of the Awareness Drive

  • Direct Youth Outreach: Volunteers connected one-on-one with students across departments, discussing the real physiological, mental, and social consequences of substance abuse.

  • Factual Educational Literature: Distributed targeted “Truth About Drugs” booklets covering widely abused substances—including synthetic drugs, prescription medications, cannabis, and alcohol—giving students unfiltered facts rather than preachments.

  • Classroom & Peer-Led Discussions: Engaged small student groups in active conversations about resisting peer pressure, recognizing early signs of addiction, and supporting friends who may be vulnerable.

  • Resource Kits for Campus Ambassadors: Provided educational folders, informational leaflets, and media kits to student leaders to foster continuous, peer-to-peer anti-drug advocacy on campus.
